Turning it all over to Him in time of need

GOD'S WIll NOT OUR WILL. TRUST HIM. HE KNOWS US BETTER THAN ANY PERSON AND LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY.

Today, I gave it all to Him. Many prayed for me today as I went to the hospital and had surgery that was necessary to prevent continued spreading of refractory chronic osteomylitis, a major "versa"/"mersa infection that has been compromising my immune system since my open heart surgery at the end of 1992. Heart by pass surgery ends up with 8 wires in the sternum to hold it together after it has been split open to get access to the heart for repair. The sternum can become infected with staph A, especially if surgery is longer than 6 or 7 hours. There are many risks walking around with an infection that literally eats up your bones and can spread. Your compromised immune system also weakens to the point where cancer cells are not fought off and filtered out of the body.I literally felt that all infection and weakness has finally left my body. I feel stronger and simply know that God has been listening to all of your prayers. I have been using all my medical problems offering them up for the healing of all of you. Let's all continue to look at others and their situations before concentrating on our own. Yes, He heals all our wounds as His goal is to draw us closer and closer to Him and His Ways, not the ways of this world. Only through faith has He brought me to the realization that I must take seriously, this walk through the Sorrowful Mysteries. The example Jesus gave us is there for a reason. We should not feel sorry for ourselves when we have pain, physical or emotional. Someone is always carrying more than us and doing so joyfully in many instances. Let us always thank God for the saints. St. Francis, St. Clare, St. Anthony, St. Pio, St. Jude, St.Rita and all the saints that have visited me through my past two years of experiences, have all showed me many things that I used to take for granted. Mainly that I never really knew how much God truly loves me and I am going to continue to think of everyone before myself and offer as much love to everyone till it hurts and hurts to the point where I am completely abandoning myself and can only see the needs of others. All of your prayers have showed me that I don't have to worry about me. God has taken care of everything. I simply have to stand on His Word and claim it. "By His Stripes We Are Healed".

Oh Lord, may my cross be as heavy as it has to be for me to carry it high and use it to heal others by the peace coming from the love that I am trying to project by the example of my life. Let me die to my selfish ways and always have the ability to see the hurts I may cause others so that I can make a good confession and receive the Grace needed to do Your Will. Never leave me Lord. You are my Best Friend. I Love You and need You every moment, breath and heart beat. May The Father be Glorified with The Son and The Holy Spirit. Thank You for my healing. Your unworthy servant Steve. Amen.

The best Saint to pray to is the Queen of All Saints, Blessed Mother Mary. The best prayer is The Most Holy Rosary which Padre Pio calls, "The Weapon".

I must agree with Mr. Donaldson that The Blessed Mother Mary is First in line on my list of the best saints to pray to. She is our real Spiritual Mother.
