The Franciscan Hermit

Seeing God In His Creatures. Experiencing Loneliness,Abandonement, Sickness and Poverty. Learning how to live The Gospel Life while in The World. Writing about individual journey experiences that might help others. Prayer intentions. Sacrificing for others. Becoming child-like. Seeing Jesus' face in the poor and the sick, the hungry and the homeless. Learning to depend solely on God The Father, Jesus The Son and The Holy Spirit. Learning to avoid self centered desires and temptations.

Buddy is a Franciscan. Probably a better example of one than I am. He gives love unconditionally without looking for anything in return. NOT ME.

GOD'S WIll NOT OUR WILL. TRUST HIM. HE KNOWS US BETTER THAN ANY PERSON AND LOVES US UNCONDITIONALLY.

It's remarkable, isn't it, that a creature we say is "just an animal", is more capable of giving love and forgiving hurt, than the creature that is human - with soul and intellect!

My pal Buddy has been gone now for quite a few years but I will never forget him and the companionship he gave me - no matter what I gave him, he always gave me himself! I don't mean to make the animal more than an animal.
